Meet the Watsons

Lyle and Stacey Watson started Tamarindo Ministries shortly after their marriage in November of 2005. Initially they held worship services in Tamarindo at a local restaurant called "La Caracola". After about a year of getting a feel for the spiritual climate of the town, they decided to change gears. "There weren't many of the local locals coming out. While we believe God used our time to minister to many who were passing through or new to the area, we still felt we weren't able to build relationship with the community. It was at that point that we prayed about it and really felt God's leading to do a Coffeehouse ministry." In December of 2006, the doors of Cafe Cafe were opened for the first time. Since then it has been a great success in terms of facilitating a social space for building relational connection with locals.
